We started our brand with no formal design or apparel industry training and now we have turned Subconscious Threads into one of the fastest growing brands in all of streetwear. The idea of Subconscious Threads was born in a dorm room at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2005 and has blossomed from a basement in Staten Island, NY to where it is today. |
SubCon was not officially founded until May of 2007 and has been moving at light speed ever since. By fusing passions such as music, sports, sneakers, and politics into fashion, we have created a unique brand that has no limits. From seeing some of the most famous people in the world wearing our clothes, to working on projects with up and coming artists, that we feel are the future, we have loved every second of the ride. If you thought that the early success has stopped our drive and determination, our goal is to prove you wrong. We strive to be listed with the streetwear greats that are now household names.
